The Coaster Theatre in Cannon Beach received $1,000 towards a summer camp for children ages seven to fourteen. The camp took place the first two weeks of August.

The daily sessions were split between age groups with the younger children meeting int he morning and the older children meeting in the for a slightly longer session in the afternoon. Through various acting exercises and games, the children explored the world of theatre as they worked towards the performance of a play (with music) presented at the Coaster Theatre at the conclusion of the theatre camp.

Several of the students have gone on to play other roles at the Theatre as well as other drama productions in the County.
