The North Coast Symphonic Band received $310 towards lumber and supplies to remodel the band office in the basement of the Clatsop Community College Performing Arts Center, to serve as an efficient and secure storage and work space for the music librarians of the band. Volunteers constructed floor to ceiling shelves to the dimensions of common musical scores so that bulky tables and filing cabinets could be moved to create space for the volunteers to work.

The North Coast Symphonc Band is in its 28th year of presenting quality instrumental concerts to the residents of the greater North Coast area. Forty-five plus volunteer musicians make up the membership of the band and local audiences have loyally supported the band.
