The Friday Music Club celebrated it's centennial year with preview performance in December 2006 at the Clatsop County Historical Society's Flavel House. Special events were also planned for May 2007 that included lectures about the historical and musical significance of the one hundred year history of the club and the personalities who were a part of it. There were also two formal limited seating concerts in the Flavel House Music Room.

To complete their ambitious project to celebrate 100 years of music, the group applied for and received $850 to repair the vintage piano in the Flavel House Music Room.
