Joe Scovell, chairman of the Clatsop-Nehalem Confederated Tribes presented a program on their heritage and customes. Tom Horning presented a program on the geology of the area and the results of past tsunamis and what could happen in the future. Sharnelle Fee did a program about the Wild Life Rehabiitation Center of the North Coast and brought along two pelicans that were being treated at the center. There was also a program called "Shorebirds Kids" planned. This introduced kids to bird watching and identification. Each child was given a deck of cards with pictures of the birds they would probably see and information about the birds on the back. Three sessions were held April 20th - May 9th, 2006.
