The Astoria Chamber Players received a grant to perform two classical chamber music concerts, including pre-concert discussions open to the public, to rais awareness of chamber music by contemporary composers. The special emphasis of these concerts will be to highlight contemporary composers who live in local communities. The grant will pay travel costs and honoriums for three composers.
